What do you think makes a brunch restaurant the best?
Brunch has long been an American favorite, but its popularity has soared in recent years. We’re fortunate in Denver to have our pick of the best brunch places around. In a food-focused city like ours, if a restaurant wants to be known for brunch, they better bring a lot to the table. What do you think the best brunch places have in common? Is it the dishes they serve, like Eggs Benedict and French Toast? Or is it the price of the meal? Everybody has their own ideas about what makes a brunch restaurant their favorite. Here’s a look at just a few things that can put a place at the top of the list.
Great Food. This is a given. The best brunch places have top notch food. Brunch classics are always appreciated on a menu, especially when re-imagined and made with a local focus. Whatever a restaurant is making, it has to be great.
Drink Specials. Preferably in the form of bottomless mimosas. The classic brunch cocktail is perfect for enjoying over a leisurely meal, which means you need more than one. Brunch is focused almost as much on cocktails as it is on food and a good value is not to be underestimated.
The Right Time. People like to enjoy brunch at all different times, not just 10 or 11 in the morning. Plenty of people prefer to sleep in late, take their time, and eat brunch well after noon so extended brunch hours are always appreciated.
